Takemusu Aikido Kyokai Netherlands
Takemusu Aikido is a traditional style of aikido rooted directly in the teachings of the founder of aikido Morihei Ueshiba as taught by Morhiro Saito sensei in the Iwama Dojo in Japan until his passing away in 2002.
Takemusu Aikido is based on three pillars:
The relationship between weapon training (wooden sword and staff) and empty handed technique
The importance of basic training as a foundation for all other levels of training and ability
Aikido as a Budo, or martial way, as relevant to modern day life
